![]() ![]() One person screamed something and it was translated as: "Let go of me, you jerk!" Very high stakes and the two characters hated other. In another instance, two men were fighting with each other literally to the death. For instance, there was a scene in which one character said about another (irritating) person, "Goodness, what a dick!" Now I have no idea what was actually said, but I can safely assume that no native English speaker would say something like that, unless it was some sort of joke. I've noticed that often, the translated dialogue especially just seems a little.off. ![]() I enjoy watching Korean dramas on Netflix (Stranger and most recently The Squid Game), and I always listen to the native Korean while reading the English subtitles. ![]() Hi! I'm a native English speaker with no knowledge whatsoever of the Korean language, so I was hoping some of you may be able to enlighten me. ![]()
